Ruthbetha Kateule

Ruthbetha Kateule has over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy in the field of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in Tanzania. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany (2016), a Master of Science in Computer Science from Periyar University in India (2012) and  a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania (2009).

Dr. Kateule’s main research interests are in the fields of Software Engineering, Information Systems, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence. She believes that these fields stimulate deep and fascinating scientific debates to facilitate the development of innovative solutions that would make the ICT solutions to be more helpful to us.
