The Montpellier Advanced Knowledge Institute on Transitions (MAK’IT) is the Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of Montpellier.
Through innovative interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches, MAK’IT aims to stimulate the contribution of scientific communities to accelerate the transitions needed to achieve sustainable development goals in the areas of agriculture and food, environment and health.
Our institute offers several fellowships to top foreign researchers. We organise international events in Montpellier that build bridges with local research units and support international research collaborations based on interdisciplinary dialogue between the sciences.
