Antonio Rojas GARCÍA
Dr Antonio Rojas García is a postdoctoral researcher in the Public Health Policy Evaluation Unit, at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London, in which he works for the National Institute for Health Research School of Public Health Research (NIHR-SPHR).
Prior to joining the Imperial College, he has been working for the NIHR’s Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) and Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) North Thames at the University College of London’s Department of Applied Health Research, where he has been part of a range of projects on mental health and public health, on the use of research evidence in public health decision-making, on behaviour change, delayed discharge, neuroimaging, and has also contributed to teaching and MSc and PhD students supervision.
In addition, he has been previously involved in several studies and projects about health inequalities and mental health, diabetes, HIV, cancer, and drug-related problems. His research interests include different elements such as i) public health and the social determinants of health, ii) mental health and behavioural sciences, iii) and research methods, evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and related statistical methods.
